A care reminder is planned care: watering every three days, a vet visit next Tuesday, a note to check the humidity. Reminders are kept on the server, and what is due shows in the Care agenda.
Before you start #
Be signed in and online. For a reminder on an item, open it: Private > the project > the item's tile. A project can also have reminders: open the project and press Care reminders under its items.
Add a reminder #
- On the item page, under Care reminders, press + Add care reminder.
- Choose the Kind:
- Task: something to do at a time and tick done, such as watering.
- Event: a calendar event with a start and an end, such as a vet visit. Choose how long it Lasts.
- Alert: a reminder only, nothing to tick.
- Give it a Title and, if you like, a Note (optional) for the amount, dose or instructions.
- Set the day and time, and the Time zone. The time stays the same in that zone after clock changes.
- Choose a Repeat: Does not repeat, Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly, then Every n day(s), week(s), month(s) or year(s). Weekly repeats let you pick the weekdays. Under Ends choose Never ends, Ends on a day or Ends after a number of times. The app shows the rule in plain words.
- In a family or company workspace, For chooses who the reminder is for: Everyone with access, Me or one member. A kid account gets its reminders in the app.
- Press Add.
To change a reminder, open it and press Save. A reminder keeps its kind; a different kind is a new reminder.
End a reminder #
Open the reminder and press End. No new reminders are made, but the care history already written stays with the item.
Marking care done #
What is due is listed in the item's Care reminders section and in the Care agenda, where each task has Done and Skip. Done and skipped tasks become care history on the item.
Limits #
Free accounts can have 10 active care reminders. Premium removes the limit. History is never limited.
