Two different things #
- A workspace is where projects and items live: your Personal workspace, or a family or company you belong to. All your workspaces are under one login.
- A saved login is another email login on the same device: your second login, or another person's. A device holds up to 5 saved logins.
The header and the User info menu always show which workspace you are in.
Switch workspace #
- Press the workspace chip in the header, or go to "My account" > "Account overview" > Workspace > "Switch".
- In "Workspaces", pick the workspace. The user menu then shows the workspace you are in.
"Workspaces" also has "Family members and seats" or "Company members and licences" (for the workspace you are in), "Family", "Invitations", "Create or join a company" and "Account settings".
Switch login #
- Open the "User info" menu and press "Switch account ›". The panel lists the saved logins of this device with their state (the open one says "open"; one that must sign in again says so).
- Pick a login, or press "Add account" to sign in with another email address (when 5 are saved, the row says "5 saved").
Switching sends your unsent changes first, then opens the other login's data, so one account's data never shows under another. A login that needs a sign-in again asks for it. On a device without fingerprint, face or screen lock you may be asked for that login's account PIN (see Security).
- "Remove a saved account…" forgets a saved login on this device. If it has unsent changes they stay encrypted on this device until that account signs in again.
- "Sign out of all accounts" (User info menu, when several logins are saved) signs all of them out on this device. Other devices stay signed in.
Answer an invitation #
Open "Workspaces" > "Invitations" and press "Accept" or "Decline". "Answer with an ID…" takes the ID from the invitation email. Invitations, and hand-overs of the main admin or owner role, show here.
Account types and roles #
- Only the person who created a workspace can change its type. A company's public projects show the company's name; a personal account's public projects show you.
- Roles in a shared workspace: Owner (everything), Admin (add and change items, manage members, set purge policies), Editor (add and change items), Viewer (see items, no changes). Tools your role may not use are hidden.
- No seat: when the workspace says "You have no seat in this workspace", it is read-only for you. Ask the main admin, owner or an admin to give you a seat, or press "Switch to Personal".
Related #
- The user menu's licence row ("Licence", "Licence admin", "Family" or "Family account") opens the Licence pages of the workspace you are in.
- Signing out and removing data from a device: Sign out, delete local data, delete account.
